Can you believe-------2012!!!!!!!

It is beginning with some definite major changes for us and probably for you too!

A close neighbor, cousin, friend, and brother in the Lord, has gone home to be with Jesus.  He was the Patriarch for a large and far reaching extended family.  At 85, he had a full, fruitful, and productive life-what more could any of us ask!!? He will be missed, but a distant cousin simply said-he will be giving Mom a hug about now!!! Neat!

Another really large change will be the moving of our beloved friend and horse rider, Ann Strode.  She will be moving to North Carolina later this month to begin a new and exciting life getting to be with her daughter and her family.  There is no one like our Ann.  Cell phones and emails will certainly help in keeping us ever so close.  Maybe even a few visits will be in our future-sure hope so.  Blessings and prayers go with Ann and her horse Smoke.

My Fantasy Football team-yes, I have a Fantasy Football team named Bacon’s Hawgs-won the season with a record of 12-2!!!  No one has been more amazed than I have been.  With 11 other teams in our group, made up mostly of young (30ish) men who are really savvy in football, you just don’t know how amazing this really is.  It looks like I will actually come in last (8^th) for the super bowl play going on today.  My son is likely to be the super bowl champ, and that’s just fine with me.  Talk about living on the edge—Fantasy Football!!!!!???

And this is just January 1^st!!!

There will be many other changes throughout this coming year. New politicians on the local, state, and national level, births, deaths, fun, challenges, victories, losses, tears, laughter.  What we make of our lives for this New Year and those to come, are our choices as we put those choices in the hand of our ever caring and ever loving Daddy God!  Most important is to remember: Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so!
